Why It Works

The fundraiser your supporters ask to come back to

🚫

No product selling

No order forms, no delivery coordination, no asking people to buy things they don't need. One event, clean and simple.

🎯

High energy format

Bracketed axe throwing tournaments keep the energy high all day. Participants are engaged, competing, and spending — not sitting through presentations.

💰

Multiple revenue streams

Ticket sales, sponsorships, mulligan packages, raffles, auctions, and lane sponsorships all stack up fast when the format is right.

🏫

Perfect for any organization

Schools, sports teams, nonprofits, churches, clubs — any group with supporters who'd rather throw an axe than buy a candle.

🤝

We handle the venue

Coaching, equipment, lanes, scoring — all provided by Spymaker. Your organization focuses on selling spots and sponsorships. We run the event.

📈

Scales to your goal

Run 1 bracket for a small raise or 5 back-to-back brackets for a major event. 280 participants in a single day is very doable with the right planning.

Planning Checklist

How to set up your fundraiser

1

Choose your date & confirm brackets

Call us to check availability and lock in how many brackets you want to run.

2

Confirm counts 7 days before

Finalize your team count at least 7 days before the event so we can set up lanes properly.

3

Set your team price

Decide what you're charging per team. Aim to sell 70 spots across 5 brackets with 4 players each.

4

Assign bracket times to each team

Schedule which bracket window each team is in and communicate it clearly when they register.

5

Choose 2 specialty challenges

Pick your two specialty challenge activities — Super Sized Darts and Mulligan packages are most popular.

6

Secure your sponsors

Reach out to local businesses for lane, scorecard, banner, and event sponsorships. Start early — these sell fast.

7

Collect raffle & auction items

Line up your raffle prizes and silent auction items. This is often a significant additional revenue source on the day.

8

Promote your event

Get the word out to your community. We can help with talking points and event details for your promotions.
