Never thrown an axe before? Good. First-timers are some of our favorite groups to coach. It takes about 3 throws to get comfortable and about 5 to get competitive.

No experience needed at all. Our coaches teach the technique from scratch and most people are sticking the axe within their first few throws. All skill levels are welcome.
Yes. Spymaker follows AATC (American Axe Throwng Conference) safety standards. Coaches are present throughout every session and safety briefings are mandatory before throwing begins. The lanes are fully enclosed.
Up to 65 guests can throw axes simultaneously at Spymaker. For groups larger than 65, we recommend combining axe throwing with escape rooms and other activities throughout the venue.
Closed-toe shoes are required. Comfortable clothing you can move in is recommended. Avoid loose sleeves that could interfere with your throw.
Guests must be at least 10 years old to participate in axe throwing and must be accompanied by an adult. Youth participants in our JR League are ages 10–17.
Yes! we have a great selection of beer, wine and ready to drink beverages. And Yes, axes and drinks DO mix well.
